The Berlin Security Conference is one of the largest European security and defence policy events.

The Berlin Security Conference / 21th Congress on European Security and Defence will be held from 30 November to 01 December 2022. This will be the first major Security Conference with guests attending in person in Germany since Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine. Norway is partner country of the BSC 2022.

The Behörden Spiegel – the most important monthly newspaper for the Public Services in Germany – has been organising the Berlin Security Conference for 21 years now. It is supported by an Advisory Board composed of key international personalities. The President of the BSC in 2022 is Wolfgang Hellmich MP, Chairman of the SPD Parliamentary Group in the Defence Committee, German Bundestag.

Our chairwoman of WIIS.de Silvia Petig is on the BSC Advisory Board and Nana Brink will moderate on Thursday, December 1st. | 9:30 a.m. the discussion on "Integration of Finland and Sweden into NATO" with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, Finnish Defense Minister Antti Kaikkonen and Sweden's Defense Minister Dr. Pal Jonson.
